SPECIAL EDUCATION NEEDS TEACHER

Job Description
  • Providing educational and educational services for students with disabilities and learning difficulties for the number of students and the quorum approved by the Ministry in the subjects of English language, mathematics, Islamic education and social studies
  • Preparing and implementing the individual educational plan for each student with a disability or learning difficulties in the special class
  • Follow up the implementation of individual educational plans for students with disabilities or learning difficulties according to content standards and the level of performance.
  • Make the appropriate adjustments and adjustments to the curricula determined according to the nature and degree of disability for special class students
  • Preparing a daily / weekly educational plan for students with disabilities or learning difficulties according to the individual educational plan and learning outcomes
  • Evaluating students of the special education class and taking into account evaluation considerations during tests and exams
  • Training students with disabilities or learning difficulties on visual and hearing aids and properly monitoring their use in coordination with other teachers and parents

KG COORDINATOR

Job Description
  • Planning curriculum in line with yearly syllabus, unit lesson plans & daily lesson plans with teachers for execution of outstanding classes.
  • Encourage high standards in all aspects of school life.
  • Contribute to the effective and efficient management of the school.
  • Promote a school culture that is happy, purposeful and productive.
  • Support and motivate pupils, teachers and other school employees.
  • Encourage consultation and discussion.
  • Ensure the availability of textbooks, notebooks, stationery, school almanac for the school before the beginning of an academic year.
  • Structure all the KG classrooms.
  • Curricular activities in line with the curriculum planned.
  • Forward all request for materials, stationery periodically to school store and ensure proper disbursal of the same to teachers against proper receipt.
  • Planning report cards keeping in mind scholastic & co-scholastic skills.
  • Planning circulars for various activities & events of the school.
  • On absence of any teachers, substitution is done with necessary work allotment.
  • Planning decoration of boards- both class & corridor with teachers.
  • Making formats for all official documents of the school as well as the department.
  • Oversee that all curricular and co-curricular work is getting done in line with school assessment policy.
  • Regular class observations of teachers for improving the standard of teaching & learning in the school.
  • Correction of sample notebooks of all classes- all subjects at random, making sure the corrections done by teachers are in line with school policy.
  • Planning and preparing students for intra class, inter section, inter class, Inter school events.
  • Attending all meetings with Principal and conducting meetings with KG class teachers, and assistant teachers for smooth functioning of the school.

PE TEACHER

Job Description
  • Teach knowledge and skills in physical fitness, health education, rhythms and dance, and individual, dual, or team sports, utilizing course of study adopted by the Board of Education and other appropriate learning activities.
  • Instructs pupils in citizenship and basic subject matter specified in state law and administrative regulations and procedures of the school district.
  • Work cooperatively with other physical education teachers in planning a balanced physical education program.
  • Analyze, demonstrate, and explain basic skills, knowledge’s, and strategies of formal sports, games rhythm, and fundamentals of body movement.
  • Provide individualized and small group instruction in order to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each pupil, to the extent feasible.
  • May teach Physical Education classes for handicapped pupils, interscholastic athletics, or drill team to senior high pupils.
  • Provide appropriate safety instruction and makes safety checks on equipment and field areas to insure the over-all safety of pupils.
  • Maintain control of storage and use of school-owned property.
  • Establish and maintain standards of pupil behavior needed to provide an orderly, productive environment in the physical education areas.
  • Evaluate each pupil’s growth in physical skills, knowledge, and contribution in team sports.

ARABIC TEACHER

Job Description
  • Take responsibility for the progress of pupils in Arabic, across the school.
  • Teach assigned language subject to students in assigned classes, particular emphasis on how to interpret languages, literature and cross cultural studies.
  • Foster the understanding of religious traditions and appreciation of the cultural differences in the UAE today.
  • Teach and assess assigned students according to their educational needs and deliver the relevant curriculum, ensuring that each student achieves academic success.
  • Translate foreign languages into the students’ natural language to help them understand the lesson.
  • Help students how to read, write and understand foreign languages.
  • Plan lessons in line with school objectives, with the aim of ensuring a healthy culture of learning.
  • Track student progress and present the information to parents, create tests and reinforce classroom rules.
  • Patiently deal with the students who act out or are of different backgrounds and abilities or have trouble following the material.
  • Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use information to adjust teaching strategies.

  • Ensure that kids are never left unattended and oversee students during non-classroom times including in-between classes, during break time, and on field excursions.
  • Collaborate with lead teachers to recognize issues students are facing and recommend solutions.
  • Assist lead teachers to prepare/ create/ conduct lesson plans
  • Comply with MOE, CAS, and class rules and regulations

SUBSTITUTE TEACHER

Job Description
  • Adhere to the curriculum and lesson plans assigned by the regular teacher.
  • Perform the instructional and classroom management processes for teachers who are absent for a day or longer periods of time.
  • Compile a report for the teacher for when he/she returns.
  • Follows and teaches lesson plans, aids students in understanding subject matter, and ensures that regular classroom routines are followed Assign and explain homework.

REGISTRATION OFFICER

ADMISSION OFFICER

Job Description
  • Communicate with parents, students and others with respect to registration, classes, meeting schedules, and transcripts.
  • Prepare documents with admission criteria according to MOE and explain it to parents before registration.
  • Process new student records, including requesting transcripts and records from other schools, setting up cumulative folder, and entering student data into appropriate databases.
  • Help complete custodianship documents. Coordinate forms for students, custodian or agents.
  • Check all necessary documents and verify with Arabic Secretary.
  • Prepare a child personal file with all documents and limited information with entry card the child is being handed over to the respective class teacher.
  • Maintain physical and computerized records including student cumulative folders, progress and failure reports.
  • Liaise with Arabic Secretary to complete the SIS registration process for students.
  • Manage up-to-date digital student/ parent records in designated electronic student data systems (Orison).
  • Assist counselors with the enrollment, withdrawals and transfer of student and process applicable records.
  • Receives and review enrollment packets and refers inquiries, student medical records, birth certificate, transcripts, etc.
  • Respond to all communications; telephone, voice mail and electronic mail of parents related to admission process and other query.
  • Appropriate communication through circulars and SMS is sent from time to time.
  • Ensure effective utilization of electronic/manual file management techniques (folder creation, records, labelling, records archiving, records search, records printing.)
  • Maintain the highest ethical standards and confidentiality in dealing with parents and student records.
  • Be responsible for the Admissions and TC Records as per MOE and CBSE rules.
  • Monitor all changes timely updating of the respective records.
  • Be responsible to communicating information of long absentees, discontinued students and status to be updated immediately.
  • Verification of documents and student files to be sent to MOE. Verification of data in Bluebook & SIS.
  • Supervision and proper utilization of admission assistant.
